Table Top Gameplay

Students are required to employ various primary research methods, including conducting playtests, observations, interviews, and surveys through questionnaires, to gather data for their study. All evidence supporting data collection must be systematically organized.

Students must:

  • Select and justify appropriate primary research methods relevant to their study.

  • Conduct the research and gather data.

During weekly tutorials, students will present their progress through Tabletop Simulator gameplay sessions. Each student is expected to document feedback from the facilitator in written form as blog posts or as vlog posts embedded within their blogs.

Play Test Data Form

Playtest analysis involves assessing a game by observing and collecting feedback from players during gameplay. This process aims to pinpoint the game's strengths, weaknesses, and areas that require improvement, particularly in game mechanics, user experience, and overall engagement. The insights gained from playtests are invaluable for developers, allowing them to refine and enhance the game to better meet player expectations and achieve its intended design objectives.
